@ The Gallery is a light and airy space filled with original art, sculpture, crafts and jewellery – all produced by Norfolkbased artists and craftspeople.

The Rivergarden dates back to 1678 and its gallery room overlooks the picturesque riverside at Thorpe St Andrew. The village is the birthplace of John Sell Cotman, who founded the Norwich School of artists with John Crome. Cotman’s painting On the River Yare – a view of the King’s Head gardens was painted from what is now the Rivergarden.

All the artwork at the Garden House is by local artists and 70 per cent of its designled home accessories are also made in Norfolk. Open all year round, the Garden House hosts regular exhibitions and recently launched a new website, online shop and gallery.

The Forum stands in the heart of Norwich’s city centre and attracts more than 2.5 million visitors a year. The building’s stunning glass atrium will host demonstrations of various art techniques between 12.30pm and 3.30pm on most days of the Norwich & Central taster exhibition.

Abel Arts has a constantly changing programme of art exhibitions and also offers regular classes and workshops, as well as portrait commissions and pastel painting holidays in Provence.

Henderson Art & Framing hosts regular exhibitions by local, national and international artists and photographers. It also offers a bespoke framing service and an extensive range of art supplies. As part of the West Norfolk taster exhibition it will hold encaustic (hot wax painting) demonstrations and try-for-yourself sessions on Friday 1 May from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
